Two-wheeler major has manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and in northern India. The company plans capex of Rs 6-7 billion in 2018-19 towards product development and on new technologies.

TVS Motor Company plans to manufacture electric two-wheelers for domestic market. TVS Motor Company Vice President (Marketing) Commuter Motorcycles, Scooters and Corporate Brand Aniruddha Haldar has told PTI that the company is keen on developing the electric vehicle and expressed confidence in having a strong presence in the electric segment.

Plans to set up a two-wheeler plant at Bytahalli, Kadakola in Mysuru. The State High Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) is likely to approve this project soon.
