Feb 15, 2014 Mumbai Trans Harbour Sea Link (MTHL) project Mumbai Trans Harbour Sea Link (MTHL) project is also known as Nhava Sheva-SewriTrans Harbour Link. The project comprises construction of 22 km, freeway grade road bridge connecting Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. It would be the longest sea bridge in India. The project awaits CRZ clearance and is likely to cost more than Rs 1,100 crore. The project envisages construction of approach roads, viaducts on inter-tidal zone, bridge across the harbour and interchanges at Sewri and Chirle. Tenders will be re-invited soon.
