MMRCL plans to construct a 380-metre long subway at Nariman Point. The subway will extend from Mantralaya, New Administrative Building, to Vidhan Bhavan, to facilitate the government staff and general public to access the nearby Metro-III Vidhan Bhavan station. Tender will be invited in December, 2019. The completion is targeted in 9 months.

BKC-Chunabhatti flyover is under construction, connecting Bandra Kurla Complex to Chunabhatti in Sion. The flyover will be completed by November.

The authority plans to undertake the widening and construction of the Akurli vehicular subway. This vehicular subway is between two metro stations of Bandongri and Mahindra. The work will complete in 3 years.

Plans to undertake Surya Regional Water Supply Scheme to meet the growing needs of the Mira-Bhayandar and Vasai – Virar region.

The authority has planned a 45-km elevated metro corridor from Kanjurmarg to Badlapur in Thane district. The funds for the project will be raised through a public-private-partnership model.

Plans to undertake the development of Growth Centres in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, including in the proposed extended area, in Joint Venture with Land Owners/persons or Companies having right, title and interest in respect of contiguous land having minimum area of 400 ha. Expression of interest was recently invited.
