Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts have recently opened a new luxury hotel comprising 19-storey with 397-key in Bengaluru. Hong Kong based hospitality group is gearing up with plans to open another hotel in Bengaluru with the name The Shangri-La Palm Retreat’’ by the end of 2016. This would entail investment of Rs 600 Crore. The project also includes 200 serviced residences.
Leading hotel group ITC Fortune has identified six acre of land along National Highway-5 for setting up a hotel in Bhubaneswar. The property will be five star plus category having 100 rooms. The MOU with the state government is not yet signed. Suresh Kumar, managing director, ITC Fortune is optimistic to complete this project in three years.
Haldiram plans to set up five star hotels with 200-keys in Bhubaneswar. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 300 Crore. The MOU with the state government will be signed soon. Apart from this the company also plans to invest in the food courts in Puri, Sambalpur and Cuttack.
