BHEL commissions all units of LSTPP

Lalitpur Power Generation Company Ltd, promoted by the Bajaj Hindusthan group has successfully developed the 3x660 MW Lalitpur Super Thermal Power Project. The plant is located at Lalitpur in Bundelkhand district. Central Public Sector Enterprise BHEL has recently commissioned all the 3 supercritical units of the 1980 MW coal-based Lalitpur Super Thermal Power Project in Uttar Pradesh within a span of just 85 days. The main plant package contract of this 1980 MW power plant is being executed by BHEL and all the three units have been synchronized three to four months ahead of the schedule agreed between LPGCL and BHEL. This was made possible by compressing the erection and commissioning cycle, by the joint efforts of BHEL and LPGCL. In the last one year, BHEL has commissioned 4 supercritical sets of 660 MW each in Uttar Pradesh, thereby significantly improving power availability in the state
