Odisha plans riverine port at Mahanadi

The Government of Odisha plans to construct a riverine port on the mouth of the Mahanadi in the Mahakalpada block of Kendrapara district. The cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 2,562 crore. The project is found to be financially viable and technically feasible. The tendering process for this project will be over by the year end. Ernst & Young is appointed as the financial consultant for the project.
