GDA sanctions Rs 600 crore for infrastructure development

Ghaziabad development authority (GDA) has sanctioned Rs 600 crore during a recent Infrastructure Development Fund's (IDF) meeting held in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The funds would go mainly for the construction of the 9.41 km metro link from Dilshad Garden to New Bus Stand and the 10.3 km Hindon elevated road that is under construction from UP Gate to Raj Nagar Extension. As of now around 35% of the work on the metro project is completed from Dilshad Garden to New Bus Stand in Ghaziabad. The metro corridor is slated to have eight stations.
