Jan 05, 2022 Manipur receives Rs. 120 cr grant under Jal Jeevan Mission The Union government has released Rs. 120 crore of the Central grant for the Jal Jeevan Mission in Manipur, which plans to provide tapped water to every rural household by September 2022. As of date, out of 4.51 lakh rural households in the State, 2.67 lakh (59.2 per cent) have tap water connections.
