As the civil work of Patna metro rail project has been advancing in Corridor II (Patna station-Patliputra Bus Terminal), the experts of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the nodal agency of the project, is planning to opt for advanced communication based train control (CBTC) system, which enables the metro trains to be run without drivers.

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL) will roll out the first phase of Aarey-Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) line of the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Metro-3 corridor in 2023. The MMRCL said it received all eight coaches of the metro train, manufactured in the Alstom Plant in Sri City of Andhra Pradesh.
