The district is likely to get its first ropeway, with Union minister and city MP Nitin Gadkari proposing one at Gadh Mandir, Ramtek. Gadkari reviewed 24 projects and proposals, including the ropeway project. State’s public works department (PWD) prepared a tentative plan and displayed it before the minister.
