Bengaluru-based developer Shriram Properties plans to complete 2.5 million sq ft of development in the current financial year and at least 10 million sq ft between FY23 and FY25. The company is also looking at foraying into Pune within the next 12 months

Shriram Properties and Xander Group signed a $350 million (~INR 2290 cr.) deal. Xander acquires 100% interest in Shriram’s Gateway SEZ in Chennai for $190 million (~INR 1250 cr.), with a further commitment of $160 million (~INR 1040 cr.) towards expansion of the IT SEZ.

Warehousing and Logistics development is the new entrant and will have a good growth. Retail malls are also likely to have a good growth in the next five years. But the clear winner is going to be affordable housing.
