Feb 05, 2022 Centre approved Rs 306cr for Borim bridge approach roads Union Ministry of Roads, Transports and Highways (MoRTH) has sanctioned Rs 306 crore to acquire land for approach roads to the proposed Borim bridge over Zuari river. The consultant company has conducted the geostatical study for the bridge in 2017, and had suggested three different routes over the Zuari.
Jul 20, 2020 Sungal Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir MoRTH has invited bids for construction of Sungal Tunnel in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The scope of work includes design and construction of Sungal Tunnel (total length 2.79 km) under project Sampark, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) on EPC mode. The estimated value of the project is Rs. 633.6 crore.
Jul 05, 2020 Itanagar to Banderdewa 4-lane Highway Project MoRTH has given financial sanction as well as administrative and technical approval for the remaining two packages of the Itanagar to Banderdewa four-lane highway project. At present the work on Package A, from Chandranagar to the Jully trijunction, is in progress.
May 20, 2020 Road Upgradation of Goha-Khellani Section Has issued a tender where the scope of work includes upgradation to two-lane with paved shoulder from 20.300 km to 29.030 km of 8.730 km length on Goha-Khellani section on NH-244 on EPC mode. The project is expected to be completed by December 2021.
May 20, 2020 MoRTH: Road Construction Target At Rs 15 Trillion By 2022 MoRTH has set a target of constructing roads worth Rs. 15 trillion in the next two years, which are part of the larger National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP). The Centre and the states would have equal share of 39 per cent in the proposed NIP and the private sector would have 22 per cent.
