The port trust has given a contract to Concast Group in consortium with Hyundai Engineering of Korea to build a port near Haldia on BOT basis for 30 years. The project would include two berths, one of them wil be multipurpose and another one would be mechanised with an annual capacity of 11.7 million tonnes. The port completion is targeted the end of 2016-17.

The company has set up new greenfield bottling plant at Chatta in Uttar Pradesh. The plant is owned by Brindavan Agro Industries, which is Coca-Cola’s oldest and largest franchise bottler in India. It will cater to nine districts of Western Uttar Pradesh and some parts of Madhya Pradesh. Currently it has 58 manufacturing units in the country.

Four laning of Demow - Bogibil Junction is planned from km 535.250 (Design km 534.800) to km 581.700 (Design km 580.778) of NH - 37 in Assam under Special Accelerated Road Development Program in North Eastern Region (SARDP-NE) on BOT (Annuity) basis.

The six laning of Chilakaluripet-Vijayawada Section of NH-5 from km.355.000 to km.434.150 covering 82.5 km is under execution in Andhra Pradesh on BOT (Toll) under NHDP Phase V. The contract was awarded to IJM Infrastructure Ltd. The completion is targeted in 6-9 months.

Isolux-Soma Consortium is implementing Varanasi-Aurangabad road Section from KM 786 to KM 978.400 of NH 2 under NHDP Phase V on BOT basis. So far around 10% of the work is completed. The project completion is targeted by March 2014.

NHAI is executing six laning of Nellore-Chilkaluripet on NH 5 covering km 1182.802 to km 1366.547, total length of 183.52 km under NHDP phase V on BOT basis. The project was awarded to KMC-BSCPL Consortium. So far around 40% of the work is completed. The completion target of May 2014 is likely to be extended.
