VMRDA has finalised tenders for a multilevel car parking facility in the Siripuram junction of Vizag for Rs. 67.5 crore. Of the 11-floor structure, five floors will be earmarked for parking, which could accommodate 450 four-wheelers and 600 two-wheelers.

Delhis first fully automated stack parking with a capacity of 136 vehicles has been inaugurated. The 39.50-metre tower parking was constructed on an 878 sq m plot at a cost of Rs. 18.20 crore. The facility can accommodate 136 vehicles - 32 SUVs and 104 sedans.

Plans to create multi-level parking depots with commercial facilities for buses run by the Delhi Transport Corporation. The state-run DTC and NBCC India signed a memorandum of understanding for constructing these one-of-a-kind depots at Hari Nagar and Vasant Vihar.
