Bagged an order from Atria Power for a 50.4 MW wind energy project located in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. The project will be commissioned in two phases by first half of financial year 2019-20.

Suzlon group has joined hands with Ostro Energy to form a joint venture for the development and construction of a 50-MW solar project in the state of Telangana. Prathamesh Solarfarms is the special purpose vehicle (SPV) formed by Suzlon to execute this project. As per the MOU, Ostro Energy shall acquire 49 per cent stake in this SPV.

The group plans to set up 2,000 MW of on-land wind capacity, 500 MW of offshore wind capacity and 500 MW of solar capacity. The offshore capacity will come up 5-10 km off the Kutch coast.

The Suzlon Group plans to set up 2000 MW Kutch wind park in Gujarat in the next four years. So far, around 1100 MW of windmills are already installed in this wind park. Recently 120 m tall hybrid wind turbine tower developed by Suzlon and installed at a wind farm in Nani Ber in Kutch district.
