Energy starved India received a boost with the commissioning of NTPC Rajiv Gandhi Sipat Super Thermal Power Station (RGSSTPS) in Chhattisgarh. On 19th September 2013, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh dedicated this project to the nation.
