US-based iPhone maker Apple is keen to set up manufacturing base in India. The company has sought incentives related from the Department of Revenue and Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeITY).

A meeting was organized by Kerala State Council for Science and Technology & Environment (KSCSTE) on 17th May 2015 at Hotel Mascot, Trivandrum to elicit information and suggestions from scientist, technologist and experts for the development of science and technology in the presence of Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Hon´ble Union Minster for Ministry of Science & Technology & Earth Sciences.
