Over 31 lakh houses have been completed under rural housing schemes in Odisha in a span of six years. As many as 31,08,471 houses allotted to beneficiaries under different schemes were completed, and 1,75,960 houses are in different stages of construction under various Central and state government schemes.

The DDA will offer nearly 15,000 flats in its new housing scheme. The flats of different categories located at Dwarka, Narela, Rohini and Jasola, among other places will be offered under this scheme and are those which remained unsold in previous housing schemes of the urban body.

The Andhra Pradesh government will launch an ambitious housing scheme by August 2020. Construction of 15 lakh houses across all 13 districts of the state would be taken up in the first phase, with the distribution of 27 lakh house sites to the poor in July.

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) of Maharashtra plans build 90,000 houses in Navi Mumbai as part of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is coming up with a Sports complex park at Indirapuram costing Rs 8 crore. The project is spread over 22 acre over space located between NH-24 and Indirapuram housing scheme.

Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) plans to complete Sector 51 housing scheme project on time. The project would require 4.48 acre of land.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has proposed to build about four lakh houses including two lakh houses in urban areas.

Telangana Government plans to provide 2 bedroom houses to the poor.The housing scheme was recently inaugurated at the IDH Colony in Hyderabad. Under the housing scheme, the state government aims to build about 60,000 houses in 10 districts within 6 months. The project is estimated to cost Rs 4,000 crore.
