NHPC has invited bids from engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors for a 600 MW interstate transmission system-connected solar photovoltaic project and associated power transmission lines. The project will be developed in the Deora village in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan.

NHPC Ltd has awarded an EPC contract to Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd for development of a 40 MW solar power project in Ganjam District, Odisha for total amount of Rs. 188.19 crore.
