Niti Aayog has prepared a draft policy for the Indian Railways to set up electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at railway stations across the country, in a bid to promote the use of such vehicles.

The government’s apex planning body is in the process of hiring consultants to prepare a master plan for the holistic development of Great Nicobar Island in the Union territory of Andaman & Nicobar, through the public-private partnership model.
