Singapore-based STT Global Data Centres’ India arm is planning to invest around Rs 2,000 crore to develop two new data centers in its existing campus in Pune’s Dighi locality taking its total capacity to over 80 MW of IT load in this hub alone.

Thyssenkrupp, a diversified industrial group, has set up a new technology centre in India which would be leading the group’s digitalisation and drive transformation in the engineering and manufacturing sector. The new facility at Hinjawadi in Pune is the only such hub for digitalisation for the group globally.

Even as the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) aka Mahavitaran is preparing to install smart prepaid meters in Pune and across Maharashtra in the coming days, the company has asked for an ‘automatic power disconnection facility’ in these meters for consumers who fail to pay electricity bills on time.

Birla Estates, the real estate arm of the Aditya Birla Group housed under Century Textiles and Industries, announced it has entered the Pune residential real estate market by acquiring 5.76 acre of land in Sangamwadi, a central business district in Pune.

Adani Group firm AdaniConneX is planning to build 1,000 megawatt data centres almost double the present size of the total industry over a period of 10 years. The first seven data centres of the company will come up in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune.

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has issued a Rs 312 crore tender for the new administrative building, which will be constructed on the seven acre land at the auto cluster in Chinchwad.
