Tata Housing plans to invest around Rs 1,200 crore over the next two years to acquire land outright and through joint ventures across major cities to develop group housing projects as well as for plotted development, which has gained traction amid the COVID pandemic.

The Hemant Soren government has approved a budget of Rs. 690 crore for 2021-22 to improve the health infrastructure of Jharkhand in the wake of the Covid pandemic. In the cabinet meeting chaired by the chief minister, the government approved the budget which will be spent for developing infrastructure.

As hospitals struggle with an acute shortage of medical oxygen amid the Covid pandemic, the government has approved setting up 551 dedicated Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) medical oxygen generation plants inside public health facilities in the country under the PM-CARES Fund.

With the economy battered by the Covid pandemic, the government has firmed up road map for capital investments of Rs. 111 lakh crore in infrastructure over six years, where the Centre (39 per cent) and the states (40 per cent) are expected to have almost equal share, with the rest going to the private sector.
