Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of a 400-key Taj branded hotel at Indira Gandhi International Airport's Terminal 3 in New Delhi in partnership with Chalet Airport Hotel. The 400-key hotel will be situated adjacent to the Indira Gandhi International Airport's Terminal 3, and is in proximity to Aero City.

Global hospitality technology company Oyo will add 50 properties in Ayodhya in 2023. Of these, about 25 will be homestays run by homeowners and 25 will be small and medium hotels with between 10 to 20 rooms each.

In 2023, Cleartrip intends to add 60,000 more hotels to its listings, chief executive officer Ayyappan R. said in an interview. In three years, we want hotels to be our number one business and not air. Even during the best of times, hotel had only 60-65% occupancy in the country, and is a very perishable inventory.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced that Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives has signed an agreement with Swimsol, the global leader in offshore marine photovoltaics, to induct a floating solar park. Once the floating solar park goes on stream in 2024, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa will operate with one of the lowest carbon footprints in the Maldives.

New Style announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for a new hotel development in Panipat, Haryana under the Ramada by Wyndham brand. The proposed hotel will be located in Sector 23, TDI Connaught Estate, Panipat.
