The hospital group plans to build three new hospitals with a total bed capacity of 800. The group has got 50 hospitals with a total bed capacity of 8,617 beds as on March 31, 2014. Out of 50 hospitals, the group owns 39 hospitals with 6,684 beds and the rest are set up in association or joint ventures. The hospitals will come up at along the Vijayawada-Guntur road, Visakhapatnam and another in Nellore.

Vijayawada Outer Ring Road (ORR) project work is likely to start in three months and take 30 months to complete. Gammon India is the contractor for this project. Land is acquired. Three toll plazas would be constructed on the outer ring road.

Madhucon Infra Ltd could not achieve the financial closure of the 64 km Vijayawada-Machilipatnam four-lane road project. Two months grace period is sought by the company. For this project, NHAI was supposed to acquire 212 hectare land. Out of this, about 20 hectare of land acquisition is remaining. A flyover at Benz Circle is also proposed in this project.

The six laning of Chilakaluripet-Vijayawada Section of NH-5 from km.355.000 to km.434.150 covering 82.5 km is under execution in Andhra Pradesh on BOT (Toll) under NHDP Phase V. The contract was awarded to IJM Infrastructure Ltd. The completion is targeted in 6-9 months.
