Hyderabad would be the first city in the country to treat 100 per cent of its the sewage as the State government is contemplating to complete and take up the operation of 31 Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) in the City by June this year. With a total treatment capacity of 1,258 MLD (million litres per day), the State government spent over Rs 3,800 crore.

The State Government is planning to set up India’s first green hydrogen cluster in Mangaluru. Seven companies ACME Solar, ABC Cleantech, ReNew Power, Avaada, JSW Green Hydrogen, PETRONAS Hydrogen and O2 Power have evinced interest to invest in Karnataka for green hydrogen manufacturing.

The state government will spend Rs 13,105 crore on the housing programme this year. The authority had spent Rs 3,600 crore on housing last year.
