As it is mandatory for a developer to plant three times the number of elsewhere as a replacement for those cut down – a rule that is usually flouted - the Tree Authority of Pune Municipal Corporation has been assigned to supervise this task, and it is now mandatory to take no-objection certificate from the authority before any building construction or development of land.

The foundation stone has been laid for a new multi-storied building and campus for Patna collectorate at its existing location on the bank of Ganga river in the state capital. It will be built at the cost of Rs. 186 crore. Besides the office of Patna DM, 39 district and sub-division level offices of different departments will be housed in the new building.

The government of Bihar has decided to construct a transport complex in Phulwarisharif area near Patna airport and has awarded the construction work to Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Limited (BSBCCL) of the state building construction department. The BSRTC building will be G+4 storey buildings whereas the six-block residential colonies will have G+5 storey buildings. The DTO building will be G+3 while the driving testing centre and filing station will have only ground floor offices. The project would be developed on a land measuring over 28 acres which is likely to begin in January 2020 after getting environmental clearance from the National Green Tribunal. The project will be complete in next 18 months from the day the work commences.
