Godrej Properties is likely to add at least 10 new residential projects across the country to its existing development portfolio in the current financial year until March end.

Realty firm Godrej Properties has acquired a 58-acre land parcel in Nagpur to develop a residential project as part of its strategy to expand business. The company, which is part of Godrej group, did not disclose the value of this land deal.

Realty firm Godrej Properties Ltd will develop a new housing project at Kandivali East in Mumbai with an estimated sales revenue of Rs 1,000 crore. In a regulatory filing, Godrej Properties said it has extended an existing arrangements with Shivam Realty to develop a residential group housing project, off Akurli crossroad at Hanuman Nagar, Kandivali East. "The new project will have an estimated booking value potential of approximately INR 1,000 crore," Godrej Properties said. This project is an extension of Godrej Tranquil and Godrej Nest, and will offer about 7 Lakh square feet of saleable area. Kandivali is a developed micro-market and extending our existing projects in the location fits well with our strategy of deepening our presence in key micro markets across India.

Godrej Properties has entered into an agreement to develop a 33 acre land parcel along Bannerghatta Road in South Bengaluru. The new project has a developable potential of approximately 3.4 million sq ft of saleable area with an estimated revenue of approximately Rs 2000 crore.

Godrej Properties (GPL) has acquired a 9 acre land parcel in Pimpri-Chinchwad to develop a group housing project. The project has a developable potential of approximately 1.7 million sq ft of saleable area with an estimated revenue potential of approximately Rs 1,400 crore.

Godrej Properties plans to invest around Rs 7,500 crore over the next 12-18 months on acquisition and development of new real estate projects. In an interview with PTI, Godrej Executive Chairman Pirojsha Godrej sounded upbeat on the growth potential in the housing and commercial real estate segments especially in four major markets - Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Pune where the company has a huge presence.

Real estate firm Godrej Properties will invest Rs 400 crore to acquire around 10% stake in DB Realty and another Rs 300 crore to set up a joint platform for undertaking slum redevelopment projects. GPLs total investment would be around Rs 700 crore and the first tranche of the investment will be made in the current quarter.

The realty firm has entered into a joint venture with the TDI Group to build a luxury housing project at the upmarket Connaught Place in Central Delhi, which would have a development potential of about 1.25 lakh sq ft saleable area. Godrej Properties is also developing multiple housing projects in Noida, Greater Noida and Gurugram.
