India Power Corporation Ltd. (IPCL) currently generates close to 1,600 MW of power through thermal, solar and wind power plants. The company is looking forward to double its power generation capacity

Plans to set up two Solar PV Power Projects of 40 MW each at Plot No. 1 and 3 at Gujarat Solar Park, Charanka Dist: Patan. Letter of intent issued to Vikram Solar Pvt Ltd on EPC basis with O & M for ten years.

GIPCL commissions nine Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of 26 MW each aggregating to 18 MW at the Rojmal Wind Farm Site, District Amreli.

IPCL is setting up a 450 MW (3x150 MW) coal based power plant at Haldia, which is expected to commission in the current year.

The company has issued Letter of intent (LoI) to Inox Wind for the installation of 26 MW Wind Energy Farm Project at Rojmal Site, Amreli, Gujarat, on EPC basis, with Operation & Maintenance Contract for twenty years. The said Wind Energy Farm Project is scheduled to be completed by December, 2016.
