Jharkhand plans solar power in 200 villages by 2023 The Jharkhand government has set an ambitious target of equipping 1,000 villages with solar lights across the state under Jharkhand State Solar Policy 2022 of which 200 villages will be solarised in the first phase by 2023.

One hundred public toilets are proposed to be made at 50 different places in Nagpur. The project is being undertaken under the Smart City project. Under the project 50 toilets each will be for men and women. Majority of the public toilets will be constructed in marker places.

A new solar policy was cleared by the UP cabinet which aims to generate 22,000 MW solar power over the next five years. The UP Solar Policy-2022 will be applicable for five years.

The Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), the key component of the Smart City Project, will be established in every district of the state. ICCC will support in fetching real-time information and enhance security and surveillance, traffic management, solid waste management, and e-governance applications.
