The state’s industries department plans to develop 9,010 acres of land for industry in Kolar, Ramanagara, Mandya, Tumakuru, Vijayapura and Haveri districts. Over 81,864 acres of land in 188 industrial areas have been acquired so far and allotted for industrial units across the state.

CIDCO has decided to provide trunk infrastructure to the Integrated Township Project in Naina region considering the incapability by the project proponent to develop it. To avoid the further delay in the development of the trunk infrastructure, the corporation will act as facilitator.

The Karnataka government has earmarked over 520 acres to set up a Japanese Industrial Township near Tumakuru. According to officials, there are over 500 Japanese companies in India, and Karnataka is home to one of the largest clusters of companies from Japan. The industrial township will encourage investments and create employment.

The HLCA has approved a proposal of the subsidiary of JSW Cement Ltd for a clinker unit with a capacity of 1.32 mtpa at Telighana, Kutra, Sundergarh. Several other subsidiary investment plans of the company also got Odisha government approval. Around Rs. 1,523 crore will be invested in the project.

The project is coming up at Tukkuguda in Hyderabad. It is spread over 3.81 acre of land. The project offers 5 towers with G+5 floors, it has 200 units of 2 and 3 BHK apartments. The amenities include CCTV Camera Security, Aerobics Centre, Swimming Pool, Yoga/Meditation Area, Multipurpose Hall, Garbage Disposal, Billiards, Rain Water Harvesting, Sewage Treatment, etc.

The subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd has entered into an agreement with Japanese firm Tsuzuki to set up a manufacturing facility at its Jhajjar premises in Haryana by 2021.

Bagged an order from Central Coalfield Ltd (CCL) to manage construction of township project in Jharkhand. In a regulatory filing, NBCC said it "has received a letter of acceptance from CCL to provide project management consultancy (PMC) services for construction of smart township …” for Magadh and Amrapali area.

Plans a 32-acre township project, Piramal Vaikunth, in Thane which will be spread across five acres and have a development potential of 2 million sq ft. The 1, 1.5 and 2 BHK apartments would start at Rs 60 lakh. The company will fund its investment through debt and internal accruals.

The completion is targeted in 18 months.
