The proposed Agra Metro Rail project comprises two corridors with the aim to connect prominent tourist locations like the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Sikandra along with other important places like Raja Ki Mandi railway station, ISBT, Agra Cantt railway station, and the Collectorate. The first corridor covering 14-km length will be constructed from Sikandra to Taj East Gate, while the second corridor will be 15.4-km long starting from Agra Cantt to Kalindi Vihar. LMRC is the nodal agency for the project.

The Government of Maharashtra has decided to appoint MHADA as the nodal agency to undertake redevelopment of Bombay Development Directorate (BDD) chawls in the city of Mumbai.
