Has issued a contract where the scope of the work is to prevent and improve the pollution of rivers in the catchment area of River Nag and Pili River in Nagpur city, by carrying out construction of sewerage treatment plants and public sanitary facilities. Also, sewage treatment plants (STPs) will be developed.

Patanjali has taken up 230 acres of land in the non-SEZ portion of Mihan in Nagpur for setting up a food park. Even as machines have been procured, the work for setting up the plant has come to a standstill since more than two months due to a financial crunch. Patanjali hopes to restart work on its stalled plant soon.

The authority is plans to undertake redevelopment of Nagpur railway station in Maharashtra. Bids were recently invited in this regard.

Plans are under way for upgrading the Secunderabad– Nagpur corridor for semihigh speed rail services. The South Central Railway (SCR) has prepared the detailed project report (DPR) of the proposed Secunderabad– Nagpur High-Speed Rail corridor and the same has been submitted to Railway Board.

The Maharashtra government has sanctioned additional capital of Rs. 3,500 crore for the Nagpur-Mumbai Super Communication Expressway or Samruddhi Corridor. The capital investment by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) was Rs. 27,477 crore on behalf of the state government.

Nagpur Metro is a rapid transit system for the city of Nagpur. The metro works between Sitabuldi to Prajapati Nagar covering 8.3 km has been completed and so far 79% of the Viaduct work has also been completed.

The company is increasing its two-wheeler tyre capacity at Nagpur by 170 lakh tyres per annum. The commissioning of the project is targeted by FY2020.
