Tata Steel´s Q1FY16 Key Production & Sales Figure

Tata Steel Limited registered Hot Metal and Crude Steel production of 2.59 million tonnes (up by 2.4% y-o-y) and 2.35 million  tonnes (up by 0.5% y-o-y) respectively for Q1FY 16. Saleable Steel production is 2.23 million tonnes and Sales increased by 2% y-o-y to 2.14 million tonnes.

Major Highlights-Q1FY 16

• Pellet Plant achieved its best ever Q1Production of 1.473 million tonnes (Previous best 1.405 million tonnes in Q1FY 15).
•  LD#3 achieved its best ever Q1production of 0.605 million  tonnes (Previous best 0.585 million  tonnes in Q1FY 15).
• Merchant   Mill   achieved its  best ever Q1 production of 0.110 million tonnes (Previous best 0.107 million tonnes in Q1FY 15).
• New Bar Mill  achieved its best ever Q1production of 0.230 million  tonnes (Previous best 0.225 million tonnes in Q1FY 15).
