The Government of Andhra Pradesh is negotiating with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for getting $200-million credit line for the Visakhapatnam-Chennai industrial corridor. This credit line would be in addition to the $500 million being worked out for the development of infrastructure along the 900-km long coastline dotted by four major infrastructure nodes proposed at Vizag, Kakinada, Gangavaram-Kankipadu and Yerpadu-Srikalahastri.
