The Kerala Roads and Bridges Corporation would execute the Angamaly-Nedumbassery airport bypass project in two phases at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,100 crore. Finance Minister T. M. Thomas Isaac has agreed to include the project in the State budget. The project would be implemented in public-private partnership model. The detailed project report would be ready in two months. The first phase of the project would cover Karayamparambu to Angamaly railway station junction and the second phase would be extended up to the airport.
