Mercom Capital Group has reported that big corporations are dominating the Solar Energy space along with private equity-backed players. Around 20% of the developers are executing about 80% of the projects. The large scale development is highly fragmented. Adani Group has the largest overall solar project pipeline in India close to 2 GW. Some of the other prominent players include ReNew Power, ACME, Azure, Suzlon and Tata Power.
