Consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical major is coming up with a plant in Kothur near Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. The unit is likely to produce 18,000 tonnes of baby care, personal hygiene and skincare products. The investment involved is to the tune of Rs 550 crore. The unit will be operational by 2018. Johnson & Johnson has earmarked an investment of Rs 650 crore for further expansion.
