Road-cum-rail bridge project is planned to ease the Silk Board Junction congestion, which has become a bottleneck due to four way traffic flow from Koramangala, Electronics City, Jayanagar and HSR Layout — through the junction. The project is estimated to cost Rs 900 crore. Bangalore Development Authority and BMRCL would fund this project to the tune of Rs 100 crore and Rs 800 crore respectively.
