Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) plans to earmark funds for initiating preliminary works related to building much needed three bridges on Kham river. These funds could be used for the preparation of project report and preliminary works. The heritage conservation committee of the corporation has recently gave nod to Mahmood Darwaza bridge and Barapulla bridge. The proposal of the Makai Gate bridge is forwarded to the state government for approval. The corporation is likely to approach the state government and demand funds.
