Jammu and Kashmir is all set to see the launch of India's longest highway tunnel at Chenani Nashri. The 10.89 km tunnel is constructed at a cost of Rs 2519 crore between Udhampur and Ramban in Jammu & Kashmir. The opening of this tunnel is likely on April 2 by the Prime Minister. The benefits include reduction in the travel time by approximately two hours and leading to fuel saving.
