The company has prepared a project for the expansion of the Thiruvananthapuram airport. The expansion project includes extension of the International Terminal at Chackai side, spread over 18.53 acre. It would be a three-storey integrated building for international and domestic terminals.
The terminals would be expanded to an additional 5600 square metre to add more passenger amenities, such as immigration counters, additional conveyor belts and aerobridges have been included in the project. Land acquisition is yet to start.
