Airports Authority of India plans to undertake development works at Deoghar in Jharkhand. The aim is to facilitate joint use for civil operation up to Airbus-320 and DRDO operation up to C-130 type of aircraft. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs 400 crore. MoU was signed between the Govt. of Jharkhand, DRDO and AAI couple of months back in March, 2017.
