Gail (India) Ltd is implementing Jagdishpur-Haldia and Bokaro-Dhamra (JHBDPL) natural gas pipeline covering 2,539-km. The project received a booster from the Centre. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved a viability gap funding/partial capital grant of Rs. 5,176 crore for this project. The grant is to the tune of 40% of the overall project cost which stands at Rs 12,940 crore.
